Joy Jarman - President since inception in 2007
Joy has been a resident of the Mornington Peninsula for over 40 years where she and her husband ran the family business. Now retired she continues her involvement with in many community based organisations. Joy is the carer of a 35 year old daughter with an intellectual disability and is committed to continue working towards easing the crisis in housing for adults with an intellectual disability.
Marj Ross - Vice President/Carer Liason
Founding Committee Member with 4 children and 9 grandchildren, including her daughter, now 50, who has multiple disabilities. She has worked as a volunteer in many different capacities over the years, mostly in areas affecting children, particularly those with disabilities. For the last twelve years Marj and her daughter have lived on the Peninsula.
Leon Black - Secretary
Married with 2 children and four grandchildren. Leon is retired from a long career in the Royal Australian Navy, Manufacturing and being a Vigneron.
Beryl Gibb, B.Sc. [Applied] Nursing Administration has been a member of FPC Inc since its formation. Beryl, married with two daughters, is a former Assistant Director of Nursing, involved for over 25 years with the health industry. Also qualified in General Nursing, Midwifery, Intensive care, and Renal Nursing. Volunteering to help those in need is a vocation to which Beryl is wholeheartedly committed.
Norman Carlyon AM
Norman joined the Frankston Peninsula Carers committee in April 2008.Formerly he was Chairman of the Corps of Commissionaires and Chairman of Moonee Valley Racing Club, and served on the Board of the Victorian Deaf Society. He had previously owned and operated a thoroughbred horse stud,Muranna, and various private hotel, restaurant and catering companies.
Libby retired as a Registered Nurse in January 2011 after 50 years with experience in medical, surgical, neonatal and burns nursing. During that time she was also a Tutor sister for trainee nurses. In addition Libby participated in the establishment of a coordinated Thalassaemia Service and received Nurses Care Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice in 1994.
Libby is married to Michael and they have three adult children and four grandchildren and now is a permanent resident of Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula.
Professional career in Real Estate with tertiary training at RMIT as Property Valuer and Consultant. Jim’s professional career extends over 45 years in various Local Government, Government and Private companies. Currently working with Mornington Peninsula Shire in a field of Property Strategy. Has lived and worked in South East Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula.
Monica’s has 35 years business experience, in Business Development, Commercial and Sales Management and Client Servicing. She has worked for Premium and Luxury Brands at State and National levels in the Travel Industry and the Retail Banking industry. In recent times she has worked in Property Development with her husband Mark Holland.
Monica plays an active role in community activities on the Mornington Peninsula.
